Graphic Designer

We are seeking a stand-out, multi-talented creative professional with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a highly collaborative mindset – someone who likes to innovate, is passionate about achieving results, and who enjoys having fun while doing so.

This is a major career-enhancing opportunity for someone who enjoys performing a wide range of art and studio responsibilities – from concepting through to production. This position develops and supports high-quality advertising and promotional activities for both agency and clients, working with creative directors, copywriters, and art directors to turn healthcare strategies into compelling campaigns that speak to multiple audiences across all advertising media.

The ideal candidate has two-to-five years of experience (healthcare communication a plus), a diverse portfolio of direct, print, and web experience (broadcast also a plus), and strong presentation skills for both internal stakeholders and clients. He or she has an undergraduate degree in art, design, or a related field of study, and is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and layout of a wide range of outreach media and collateral materials that resonate and generate a response from specific target audiences, including patients, caregivers, physicians, and medical and science professionals
  • Layout of a wide range of print and web materials in multiple languages
  • Finalization of graphic files, which includes (but is not limited to) the following:
    • Preparing files for print or web
    • Suggesting improvements and modifying formats to increase the quality of production and ensure that standards are met
    • Organizing a wide range of design and layout files
    • Archiving and updating graphic files
  • Other technical duties may include scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, and eliminating defective and excessive imaging

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with copywriters and the creative director to generate creative ideas and concepts that ensure that campaign objectives are met
  • Learning to concept and design multifaceted campaigns involving a wide range of outreach and collateral materials designed to generate a direct response
  • Mastering an understanding of, and creating designs that resonate with, the distinct audiences for each campaign
  • Presenting creative to clients throughout the development process
  • Producing and presenting sketches or storyboards to communicate ideas to clients
  • Consistently applying and enforcing style/brand guidelines

General Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the principles of design, including layout, typography, color, balance, composition, and current design trends
  • Familiarity with production requirements and working with outside vendors, e.g., printers, exhibit vendors, other agencies
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to take direction, as well as to organize projects on your own, when needed
  • Ability to follow and improve upon core creative processes for materials for a complex, regulated industry
  • Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Advertising Account / Campaign Coordinator

We are expanding our client services department and looking for a campaign coordinator. The campaign coordinator contributes to and coordinates team members' and specialists' activities related to the development and implementation of global and domestic client campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses strong operational and communication skills. A four-year college degree is required. Two years of healthcare marketing experience or similar, is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day operational support as part of an account team, such as attending internal and external meetings and client phone conferences, preparing agendas and call reports for meetings, circulating materials for review and approval, and maintaining schedules, critical paths, and project budgets within BBK's project management system.
  • Coordinating the timely completion of the work of specialists (e.g., creative, research, and production) involved in the development and implementation of campaigns.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on data that tracks campaign progress and effectiveness.
  • Providing medical professionals with information about campaign programs, strategies, enrollment objectives, materials approval, and tactical implementation timelines.

Advertising Account Executive / Campaign Manager

We are expanding our client services department and looking for an account executive / campaign manager. The campaign manager is responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the development and implementation of our clients' campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses strong operational, communication, and critical thinking skills. A four-year college degree is a requirement. Two to five years of healthcare marketing experience or similar is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and communicating with clients about recruitment strategies, enrollment objectives, materials development and approval, and the results of tactical implementation.
  • Leadership and coordination of campaign teams and department specialists (e.g., creative, research, production, etc.) involved in the development and implementation of global and domestic campaigns.
  • Presenting BBK's patient recruitment programs at domestic and international meetings attended by the medical professionals who conduct our clients' clinical trials, and training the attendees on patient recruitment marketing communications tactics and strategies.
  • Development and presentation of new business proposals to requesting prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintaining schedules, critical paths, and project budgets within BBK's project management systems.

Our copywriters develop campaign strategies and materials that resonate with patients and medical professionals, keeping our clients’ clinical trials top-of-mind and creating a strong call to action for potential study participants. The ideal candidate possesses solid written communications skills; the ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment; and a four-year college degree. Two-to-five years of healthcare marketing experience is a plus.

  • Mastering an understanding of the specific target audiences for each campaign.
  • Concepting and developing multifaceted campaigns involving a wide range of outreach and collateral materials that produce results in promoting global clinical trials to patients and physicians, and that promote BBK Worldwide to clinical trial sponsors.
  • Collaboration with the creative director, art directors, designers, other writers, media team, translation, and account management teams to develop creative marketing concepts and strategies.
  • Development of copy for any media, collateral, and audience that will clear rigorous reviews by creative, management, clinical, regulatory, and legal reviews.
  • Self-edit and copy edit drafts of other employees and team members.
  • Presentations of creative to clients throughout the development process.
